Travels: England, part one

So I knew England was beautiful.  I have lived in the United Kingdom for sixteen years.  What I didn't know was the actual extent of majestic-ness that is everywhere, or how easy it is to get around and see it all (England is tiny).  Although H and I have not been together for very long at all (only about 3 months when we started on this trip!) it felt like an amazing honeymoon.  We had glorious weather (we started in July) and everywhere we went we talked to people, ate lovely food, drank local beers and ciders, and generally hung out in nature.

We were travelling in an amazing camper van that H made himself.  From the outside, it just looks like a van.  From the inside, it is a little house with two sofas that fold into a bed, a kitchen complete with stove, oven, and sink, and all the storage space we need.  Our garden is whatever is outside the door.

Travelling this way is amazing.  It means that wherever you go, you live there now.

Next, England, part two!
